Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of OneLevelHigher's browser extension, website, and any related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by OneLevelHigher ("we," "us," "our"). By installing the extension, creating an account, or subscribing to Premium, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

OneLevelHigher provides a browser extension that analyzes publicly visible product and review information and displays a trust score and related signals. A Free tier is available to anyone. A paid Premium tier unlocks additional features, described on our pricing page.

2. Accounts

An account is only required for Premium. You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.

3. Subscription billing

Premium is billed on a recurring basis (currently monthly) at the price shown at checkout, via our payment processor, Stripe.
Your subscription automatically renews each billing period until you cancel.
We may change the price of Premium going forward. If we do, we'll provide notice before the change takes effect for existing subscribers, and the new price will apply starting with your next billing cycle after that notice period.

4. No refunds

All payments are non-refundable. This includes partial billing periods — if you cancel partway through a billing cycle, you will not receive a prorated or partial refund for the unused portion.

We may, at our sole discretion, make an exception in cases of billing error (e.g., a duplicate charge) or other extraordinary circumstances, but doing so once does not obligate us to do so again.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time from your account dashboard's billing portal.
When you cancel, you keep Premium access through the end of your current paid billing period. No further charges will occur after that.
Once your current billing period ends, your account automatically reverts to the Free tier. Premium-only features (including the full signal breakdown, Real Rating, and value comparison) will stop working at that point.
We do not store or "bank" unused time — canceling and re-subscribing later starts a new billing cycle at the then-current price.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the extension, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits this.
Share a single Premium license key across multiple people or accounts.
Use the Service in a way that places excessive automated load on our servers or on third-party sites the extension reads from.
Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without our written permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. No warranty; use at your own risk

The trust score, Real Rating, value comparison, and any other signal shown by the Service are algorithmic estimates based on publicly available data. They are not a guarantee that a listing is genuine, fake, fairly priced, or safe to purchase, and should not be your only basis for a purchasing decision.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any score or signal is accurate.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OneLevelHigher and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service — including any purchase decision you make based on information the Service shows you. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by OneLevelHigher. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the extension and website for their intended purpose, subject to these Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the extension and/or canceling your subscription.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law
